Top PickAktun Chen is running a half price banner across both single activity tickets and the combo packages. Since the adult combo lists at 2,110 MXN, that is the largest saving on the site in absolute terms, so it is worth pricing the combo before buying activities one at a time.

The combo brings the underground river, the cave walk and the zipline together at 2,110 MXN for adults and 1,690 MXN for children. Bought separately those three come to more, and the park is far enough from Playa del Carmen that doing one activity per trip is impractical anyway.

The cave is the cheapest way into the park, at 470 MXN for children and 580 MXN for adults. It is also the least physically demanding of the three, which makes it the sensible pick if you are travelling with younger children or older relatives.

The río subterráneo runs at 520 MXN for children and 650 MXN for adults. This is the cenote system the park is actually known for, described on the site as the best kept secret of the Riviera Maya, and it is the activity most visitors come for.

The site runs its own rewards balance called Aktunes, tracked in your account alongside orders and reservations and usable against payment. Worth registering before booking rather than after, since the reward only accrues on purchases made while signed in.

There is a free app that holds your bookings, reservations and wallet balance in one place. Useful on arrival, since the park sits 4 km south of Akumal on the Cancún to Tulum road where mobile signal is not guaranteed.

The rescue area is part of the park rather than a paid extra, so any ticket gives access to it. It houses animals recovered from the surrounding region, which makes it the part of the visit worth allowing extra time for.
