The FlashCable gage interface output is connected to GageMux multiple input gage interface or similar devices that recognize Mitutoyo Digimatic signals. Note: Special 20 foot cable length.FlashCable gage interface has programmable memory - and is configured to plug and play with your Pro3600 digital protractor. Stored within the programmable memory of the FlashCable gage interface is critical gage control information such as gage ID, FlashCable serial number, and configuration date. The FlashCable gage interface does not obtain any power from the gage.When connected to the GageMux gage interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable. On devices other than GageMux gage interface make sure pin 9 provides a 5V to the FlashCable gage interface.The ASDQMS FlashCable is configured using the default communication parameters for the Pro3600 digital protractor. The LED on the ASDQMS FlashCable turns GREEN when properly connected. The LED flashes RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.The Data Transfer Can Be Triggered By Using Any Of The Following Methods:A footswitch connected to the FlashCable gage interfaceA footswitch connected to the ASDQMS GageMux or equivalent triggering methodSending a gage read command from the computer to the GageMux gage interfaceThis Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable gage interface includes a footswitch port for use in other Mitutoyo Digimatic compatible systems.“
