- A: AnswerYou can set a schedule for your camera or have it always enabled. Via ring bridge and the app you create groups of devices. I have one with camera on one side of my garage and one without on the other. I also have a Ring lightbulb in the lantern next to my door. If either sensor detects motion it can turn both floods on and the single bulb. And the flood without camera can turn on the camera at the same time. What I am thinking I could do it get another bulb for inside the house and have it set to turn on when the motion sensor detects something and it could be a silent alert. That might get annoying but it is an option.

- A: AnswerYou’ll leave the light switch on at all times. Turning it off wil shut the camera off also. The light will always activate with motion and also you can turn on the light from the app. Just click on the camera and turn lights on. They’ll stay on till you turn them off that way.

A: AnswerThe box indicates that it can. I just had a pretty gnarly thunderstorm at my home on Saturday morning (an electric transponder blew out and my entire neighborhood was without electricity for a couple hours) and the camera did well. I opted for the wired camera, so it went down with the electricity, but came back on without issue.Answered by Renee

Ring security camera
Loved the camera!!! Quick 15min install directly to the doorbell. I bought a wize camera before this and doesnt even come close to this ring camera with alarm and led light already integrated. Motion sensor is great detects every car that passes by. Would reccomend you do have to pay a monthly fee but its worth it.

Clear views and easy install
Excellent quality. I was surprised how easy it was to install and with the video quality. The picture is the view from the camera on the app. Of course, the night shots are not as colorful - until the light comes on - then it is well lit.

Great buy
Love it. It gives a clear picture, the motion settings are awesome, and it’s easy to use with the app. You can talk through it and you can actually set off a siren also. I have 2 of these. One for the front and one for the back. I have the whole ring alarm system as well. It’s all combined together and super easy to use!
