Is there a Credit Strong promo code?
Credit Strong does not publish a promo code or discount for its MAGNUM accounts. What it does publish is the cost: monthly payments, the administrative fee, the APR on each plan and the cancellation terms. This page lists those figures as the provider shows them, without any view of our own on whether the product suits you.
How a MAGNUM account works
MAGNUM is a cash secured credit builder loan. You do not receive the loan money when the account opens; it is held in a deposit account as collateral. You make monthly payments of principal and interest, the payments are reported to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, and the principal is returned to you when the account closes. The provider notes that, because of the account size, reporting may only start after 90 days and 3 on-time payments.
Credit Strong MAGNUM costs
- MAGNUM: from $30 a month, $25 due today, building $2,000 to $10,000 of credit over a 10 year term.
- MAGNUM 4000: $55 a month for $4,000 of credit, 11.11% APR, up to 120 months.
- MAGNUM XL 10K: $135 a month for $10,000 of credit, 10.57% APR, up to 120 months.
- Administrative fee: $25, non-refundable, on all MAGNUM accounts.
- Early payment or closing: no prepayment or early withdrawal penalties.
Who Credit Strong says it is not for
The provider lists cases where MAGNUM is not a good fit: if you cannot make the minimum monthly payment on time every month, cannot keep the account open for at least 24 months, have a bankruptcy less than 7 years old, have had late or missed payments in the last 12 months, or plan to apply for a mortgage or a business loan with a personal guaranty within 12 months. Its own disclaimer says no credit score increase is guaranteed and that late payments may be reported as delinquent.
Keeping costs down
The interest you pay is the provider's charge for the service, so the total cost depends on the plan size and how long the account stays open. Read the full plan details and interest rates linked from magnum.bank before applying, and choose a monthly payment you can keep up for the whole term.
Fees and terms on this page were checked on the provider's own website on 23 October 2026.
