Software and Computing EditorMia Parker covers software, computing and AI tools. Subscription pricing renews at a different rate to the one it starts at, so she records the renewal price beside the introductory offer wherever a vendor publishes it.
About Mia Parker
Background, focus areas, and how this expert approaches savings content.
Mia Parker edits software and computing coverage at SavingArena, including the fast moving set of AI tools that now sit alongside traditional desktop software. Software pricing has shifted almost entirely to subscription, and that changed what a discount means: the first year price and the ongoing price are two separate numbers.
She publishes both wherever a vendor states them, and notes when a discount applies only to an annual commitment. On hardware she looks at what is upgradeable after purchase, because a machine with soldered memory at a good price can be a worse buy than a slightly dearer one that lasts longer.
