Not on findmypast.com today. On 22 October 2026 the US site showed no discount code on its home, subscription or trial pages. Coupon sites list codes from 10% to 39% off, but several are years old, some belong to the UK or Irish sites and none appeared on the official US pages. What Findmypast does offer openly is a 7-day free trial and a range of records you can search for free.
The US subscription page listed two memberships on 22 October 2026:
Paying yearly costs less than twelve monthly payments: $129 against $179.40 for Essential, and $179 against $239.88 for Ultimate. Findmypast also runs separate sites for the UK, Ireland and Australia, which price in their own currencies.
You can pay by credit or debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and later payments are taken the same way. Plans can be upgraded from the Upgrade button, which shows the cost and the start date of the new plan. To cancel, go to My Account, then My Subscription, then Cancel subscription, and Findmypast confirms by email.
Start with the free records to see whether your family appears in the collections, then use the 7-day trial for the 1921 Census and newspapers. If you plan to research for more than a few months, the yearly plan is the cheaper choice.
