Its savings are built into the policy price: the current offer of 2 months free insurance for pets under 1 year old and 1 month free for older pets, a 5% multi-pet discount off the total base premium when two or more pets share a policy, and 5% off the base premium for paying the year in advance.
On 31 October 2026 PetsOnMe listed cover from $9.31 a month. The Accident plan has a $5,000 annual benefit limit, the Classic plan $10,000 and the Deluxe plan $20,000, with up to 80% back on eligible vet bills. The excess is chosen when buying, at $100, $200 or $300 per condition. Premiums are worked out from the pet's age and plan, and for dogs also the breed, and can be paid fortnightly, monthly or yearly with no lock-in.
The published waiting periods are none for accidents, 21 days for illness and 180 days for some conditions, and they are waived for pets that held cover with another insurer for 12 months without a break.
