Is there a ReadyShip promo code?
ReadyShip does not show a promo code or discount on its site. What it does offer is a way to start without paying up front: the All-in-One Personal plan begins with a 30-day free trial, and the subscription fee is only charged once the trial is over. The home page promises no initial costs, because the templates come already installed and configured.
How ReadyShip works
Instead of buying a theme and installing it yourself, you pick a finished WordPress website from the ReadyShip template marketplace and subscribe to it. Each site comes with every plugin it needs and runs on ReadyShip's managed hosting, so you only change the text, images and settings before you launch. Designers can also sell their own templates on the marketplace through a seller account, and there is an affiliate program.
ReadyShip plans and prices
All three plans include free SSL, a fast CDN, an FTP account, 24/7 monitoring, hosting support, a tuned server, a firewall and a free subdomain. The prices are shown as starting prices:
- All-in-One Personal Package Plan from $59.00 a month: 50GB storage, 50GB monthly data transfer, 100,000 monthly visits, one daily backup and a 30-day free trial.
- Business Plan from $93.00 a month: 200GB storage, 200GB monthly data transfer, unlimited visits and four backups a day.
- Enterprise Plan from $273.00 a month: 600GB storage, 1000GB monthly data transfer, unlimited visits and 24 backups a day.
Every plan runs on one server instance, and ReadyShip says you can change plan at any time.
Shipping, returns and payment
Nothing is shipped, as the website is set up online in your account. Under the Terms of Service, run by STOVE, Inc. and governed by the laws of Tokyo, Japan, fees are charged in advance once the trial ends, and the subscription renews on its own each month or year and is charged to your registered card unless you tell ReadyShip before the current period ends. The terms state that no refunds are available, so tell ReadyShip before the trial ends if the site is not right for you. A domain of your own is not listed in the plans; the free subdomain is included.
How to save at ReadyShip
Use the full 30 days of the free trial to build and test your site before the first charge. Start on the Personal plan unless you expect more than 100,000 visits a month, because you can move to a bigger plan later. Set a reminder before the renewal date, since payments are not refunded.
