A practical savings guide for shoppers using Splice USA offers.
Splice does not list a public promo code to type in. Its savings sit on the plans themselves. The Creator plan costs $4.99 for the first month and then $19.99 a month, with about 200 downloads a month. A special offer page lists Creator on annual billing at $120 for the year, or $10 a month billed annually, for new subscribers only and with no end date shown. Yearly billing on the plans page is marked as a 15% saving, and the Sounds plan is $12.99 a month billed yearly.
Students and faculty with a school email in the USA, UK, Australia, South Korea or Japan can get Sounds+ with 100 monthly credits for $8.99 a month. Splice emails the code to the school address, and it cannot be combined with other plan discounts. The INSTRUMENT plugin is a free download with free presets, and unlimited instrument access costs $12.99 a month. Rent to own plugins are paid monthly toward a full license, for example Serum 2 at $9.99 a month.
A sample costs one credit, and MIDI patterns and presets cost up to three. Unused credits roll over, and a plan can be paused for up to two months. A cancelled plan stays active to the end of the billing period, and credits left expire 28 days after it ends.
