Is there a The Week discount code?
The Week did not show a discount code on 8 November 2026. Its savings come as subscription offers on its own pages instead, and they apply without a code when you choose a package.
Current The Week offers
- 6 weeks free: every package starts with 6 free weeks, and you can cancel or pause at any time.
- Student offer: £10 for the first year of app and website access, rising to £20 in the second year.
- Christmas Sale: £5 off annual gift subscriptions. Gift subscriptions begin with the first issue in the New Year.
The Week subscription prices
After the free weeks, prices are charged every 13 weeks:
- Print + Digital: £55, with the printed magazine each week plus the app, website and newsletters.
- Digital: £39, with daily digital editions and the weekly magazine in the app before it reaches the newsstand.
- Print: £54, with the weekly printed magazine and a best articles email.
Annual gift subscriptions in the Christmas Sale cost £193 for Print + Digital, £112 for Digital and £189 for Print.
What you get
The Week picks the most important stories of the week, with pages on arts, books, food and wine. The digital editions include the Morning Report on weekday mornings, the Evening Review on weekday evenings, the Saturday Wrap and the Sunday Shortlist of cultural reviews. If you are not satisfied, The Week refunds unmailed issues when you cancel within 30 days, and you can pause a subscription for up to three months instead of cancelling.
How to save on The Week
Start with the free 6 weeks to see which package you read most, then keep only that one. Students should use the student page, which costs far less than the standard rate. If you want The Week as a present, the annual gift price in the Christmas Sale is £5 lower than usual.
Offers on this page were checked on The Week's own website on 8 November 2026.
