Visit
Top PickBook General Admission online for a summer visit and you get a second day out free, at either London Zoo or Whipsnade. That is effectively two visits for the price of one and the best value on offer. Book between 23 June and 2 September 2026, with the original visit falling inside that window.
Expires: 2 September 2026
Entry
Arrive by train with two valid National Rail tickets and the cheaper of the two visitors gets in free. No code is needed, you present the rail tickets on arrival. On two adult tickets that is close to thirty pounds saved for a journey most London visitors are making anyway.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Family
Family tickets for three or four people save up to thirty nine pounds against buying the same tickets separately. Everyone in the group has to arrive and be admitted at the same time. It is the single biggest cash saving on a standard day out here.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Membership
Paying annually by Direct Debit takes twenty percent off every Gold and Silver package, bringing Gold Adult from 137.50 to 110 pounds. Membership pays back in under three visits at gate prices, and covers both London Zoo and Whipsnade. Open to new and renewing members alike.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Shop
Animal themed homeware and prints are reduced by up to half, with verified examples including the Jane Bowyer sloth art print at 6 pounds down from 12 and an eco friendly camel cup at 2.50 from 5. Proceeds fund ZSL conservation work rather than a commercial retailer.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Oyster
Show a valid Visitor Oyster Card at the entrance and a quarter comes off the gate admission price. It applies at the gate rather than online, so it is the exception to the usual advice of booking ahead. Aimed at visitors to London rather than residents.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Entry
Children aged five to fifteen holding a valid Blue Peter badge card, digital or physical, get in free when accompanied by a full paying adult. The badge must be current and shown on arrival. One of the few genuinely free child entries in London.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Carer
Children under three enter free at both London Zoo and Whipsnade, though ZSL ask you to still book them a ticket so numbers are known. Every disabled visitor is also entitled to one essential carer free of charge. Neither needs a code.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Perks
Gold members take ten percent off across the ZSL online shop, the zoo shops, the restaurants and all animal experiences, plus two zoo tickets at half price each year per member. On top of unlimited entry that is what separates Gold from Silver.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Upgrade
Visit first, then upgrade within fourteen days and ZSL deduct what you paid for the tickets from the membership price. It removes the risk of committing to a year before you have seen the place. Handled when the membership is processed rather than at the gate.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Ticket
Seniors over sixty five, students with valid ID and disabled adults pay from 25.90 pounds online in advance, against 27.70 for the equivalent adult ticket. The reduction is roughly two pounds at every price band rather than a percentage. ID is checked on arrival.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Advance
Adult tickets booked online in advance start at 27.70 pounds against 29.50 at the gate, and as a charity ZSL charge no VAT on admission. Advance pricing applies to tickets bought before 10am on the day of the visit. Booking ahead also guarantees entry on busy days.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Tickets
Households on Universal Credit and other qualifying benefits can buy heavily discounted admission for up to six people living at the same address. It has to be booked online in advance rather than at the gate. The price is shown during booking rather than published on the page.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Discount
Discounted dated admission is available through the Blue Light Card and Defence Discount Service. Request it on their site and follow their booking route rather than ZSL own checkout. ZSL do not publish the percentage, so it is confirmed once you are verified.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Guarantee
If something unexpected during opening hours affects everyone experience, ZSL will invite you back free of charge. It applies to admission booked in advance. A rare guarantee in the attractions sector, where weather and closures usually fall on the visitor.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Animal
Every adoption costs 28 pounds across the whole range, from hippo and okapi to red panda, sloth and African wild dog, and arrives as a gift pack. The money funds ZSL conservation rather than a retailer margin. A fixed price rather than a discount.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
60
Mainland UK orders of sixty pounds or more ship free, saving the 5.99 standard charge. Worth combining an adoption gift pack with sale homeware to clear it. Standard delivery applies below the threshold.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
Newsletter
Signing up to the ZSL Shop newsletter releases ten percent off a first order alongside conservation news and shop updates. It applies to the online shop rather than zoo admission. New subscribers only.
Expires: Limited Time Offer
