Setup
Verified Top PickBilling Better now trades as Homebox, and its home setup flow is described on the site as completely free for movers. After a new address is entered, Homebox identifies the gas, electricity, water and council tax providers for the property and walks the mover through a checklist of suppliers, services and to-dos.
Limited Time Offer
Energy
VerifiedThe Homebox site includes a free comparison of energy tariffs for the new property and of broadband deals from UK providers, built into the home setup journey. Homebox states that it identifies the current suppliers at the address and handles the switch once a tariff is chosen.
Limited Time Offer
Bundle
VerifiedHomebox bundles household bills such as energy, water and broadband into one monthly direct debit. The residential terms state a minimum Homebox Subscription Fee of £15 per month per resident, £180 over 12 months. The fee does not include the cost of the utilities themselves, and the agreed fee is shown in the quote at sign up.
Limited Time Offer
Cooling Off
VerifiedThe residential terms allow a new customer to cancel the Homebox service within 14 days of signing up, or of the annual renewal date, without penalty. After that the subscription runs for 12 months and can be ended with 30 days notice by paying the minimum £15 fee for each remaining month.
Limited Time Offer

VerifiedThe Homebox Energy Unlimited tariff, powered by Do Energy, is a 12 month fixed term contract with electricity and gas unit rates of £0.00 per kWh and a combined standing charge from £6.88 per day. The exit fee is £60 per fuel. The tariff page itself states that Unlimited Energy is a more expensive way to pay for energy and is meant for a fixed monthly payment.
