About Mason Ward
Background, focus areas, and how this expert approaches savings content.
Mason Ward covers pet retail for SavingArena, from food and treats through to health products and insurance. Pet food behaves like grocery rather than like general merchandise, because it is reordered on a cycle, so subscription pricing usually outperforms the one time codes shoppers go looking for.
Prescription diets and medication are the part that catches people out, since these require veterinary authorization and an order can sit unfulfilled without it. He notes that requirement wherever it applies, and checks that a discount has not been calculated against an inflated reference price, which happens often in this category.
