The banner gives no conditions, so read the participation terms on smavesto.de before you move money. Existing customers who newly register by 31.01.2027 receive a permanent preferential fee of 1,00 % a year, subject to its terms.
The standard cost is one annual fee of 1,25 % on your average depot value. Depot costs and the transaction costs for buying and returning fund units are included, and there are no extra depot fees. The fund companies charge their own running costs on top, which SMAVESTO puts at 0,10 % to 0,12 % depending on the portfolio. The annual fee is debited from your reference account each December.
Saving is possible from 10 € a month, and third parties such as grandparents can pay into a child's depot. The FAQ states there is no notice period and no minimum investment term. If you close the account, the depot contract with DekaBank ends as well and the money goes to your reference account.
