How Viator promo codes work
Viator states that every code is redeemed at checkout: the code goes in the Promo Code field and the discount is added to the purchase. A valid code can also be used on a Reserve Now & Pay Later booking. Viator does not list a public promo code on its own pages at the moment, so no code is shown here.
Booking terms stated by Viator
- Free cancellation: a full refund when cancelling at least 24 hours before most experiences.
- Reserve Now & Pay Later: no additional cost, card charged two days before the activity.
- Viator Rewards: earned on bookings made directly on the site or app. Rewards are not earned when a promo code is applied, and the two cannot be combined.
Prices are set by each tour operator and shown on the tour's own page.
Shipping, returns and payment
Delivery: nothing is shipped. Viator sells bookings for tours, activities and attraction tickets that independent operators run, and the details for each experience are on its own page.
Cancellations and refunds: most experiences give a full refund when you cancel at least 24 hours before the start time. Some tours have other terms, so read the cancellation section of the tour page before you book.
Payment: a standard booking is charged when you book, and a Reserve Now & Pay Later booking two days before the activity. Rewards can pay for part of an order but never all of it: at least $1, or the local equivalent, is always paid normally. Rewards are earned only on bookings made on the Viator website or app, not through a partner, travel agent or affiliate link, and they stay redeemable for 180 days. To use a promo code instead, remove the rewards at checkout first.
The rewards terms were checked on Viator's own pages on 24 October 2026, and the cancellation and Reserve Now & Pay Later terms on 7 October 2026.
