How Spirit Halloween promo codes work

Spirit Halloween shows its current codes in the bar at the top of its own website, and you enter one in the promo box at checkout. On 14 October 2026 that bar showed the season's codes, and Spirit's own offers in its affiliate network feeds add the details below (checked 16 October 2026):

• TREAT26: on orders over $40, free standard shipping, $5 express, $15 2-Day or $20 Overnight shipping, until 1 November 2026.
• DELIVER5: $5 shipping on orders under $40, until 1 December 2026.
• 10PICKUP: 10% off when you buy online and pick up in store, until 1 November 2026.
• DELIVER40: free shipping on select animatronics that ship as oversized items, until 1 November 2026.

Spirit applies one coupon or promotion per order, and oversized shipping fees are not covered by its ordinary shipping offers, which is why the animatronic code is separate. Short codes also appear for a single day or a holiday weekend, such as TAKE20, listed as 20% off one item over the Columbus Day weekend, from 8 to 14 October.

Which code fits your basket

The $40 line decides which shipping code to use. Prices on Spirit's site make it easy to see where a basket lands:

• An adult Buzz Lightyear, Jessie or Woody jumpsuit costume is $59.99, so one costume clears $40 and TREAT26 applies.
• A toddler Woody costume at $36.99 or an adult Jessie costume kit at $34.99 stays under $40, so DELIVER5 is the code that caps shipping at $5.
• Bulky decor such as the $249.99 Doomsday Duo or the $299.99 Willow Witch animatronic is often better as a pickup order: 10PICKUP takes 10% off and there is no shipping to pay.

Spirit Halloween delivery times before Halloween

Orders ship the same or next business day, Monday to Friday. To ship the same day, order before 3pm EST for economy and standard shipping, or before 12pm EST for express. Total delivery times on Spirit's shipping page, processing included:

• Standard: 4 to 8 business days
• Express: 3 to 5 business days
• 2-Day: 3 business days
• Overnight: 2 business days (no Saturday or Sunday delivery)
• Canada Economy: 5 to 11 business days

Rural and remote addresses can take one more business day. Standard, 2-Day and Overnight cover the lower 48 states; Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO, FPO and PO boxes ship by USPS Priority. Same day delivery is also offered on eligible items, and Spirit runs an official Instacart storefront.

Ordering from Canada

Spirit ships to Canada by Canadian Postal Service Economy (6 to 11 business days) or FedEx International Priority (1 to 3 business days). Prices are charged in US$, so your bank may add a currency conversion charge, and customs delays are outside Spirit's control.

Spirit Halloween return and exchange dates for 2026

• In stores: returns ended on 16 October 2026 and exchanges with a receipt ended on 22 October 2026, so from 23 October every store sale is final.
• Online orders: returns within 14 days, unworn, with the original accessories and packaging, but during the Halloween season mail returns had to be postmarked before 16 October 2026, according to Spirit's return page as we read it on 14 October. Shipping charges are not refunded, and wigs cannot be returned.
• Refunds: usually 5 to 7 business days after the return reaches the warehouse, but up to 4 weeks in the Halloween season. In-store returns take 2 to 3 business days to post.

Online returns start from the Order Locator on Spirit's site, using the order number, email address and zip code.

A sizing tip that saves a second order

Spirit says most of its costumes run smaller than standard clothing sizes and suggests the bigger size if you are between two. This season's store return window closed on 16 October and the exchange window on 22 October, so every store purchase is now final sale and the size has to be right the first time.
