Spirit Halloween sale 2026 at a glance
Spirit Halloween does not hold one big sale. Its prices move through the season in three ways: promo codes that change every few days in the bar across the top of its website, markdowns on individual products, and the seasonal deadlines that decide whether you can still return what you buy. This is how the 2026 season looks on Spirit's own pages as of 14 October 2026.

How Spirit Halloween discounts work
Spirit shows its current codes in the banner across the top of spirithalloween.com, and you enter one in the promo box at checkout. On 14 October 2026 the banner rotated between four codes:
- TREAT26: free standard shipping, or $5 express shipping, on orders over $40
- DELIVER5: $5 shipping on orders under $40
- 10PICKUP: 10% off when you buy online and pick up in store
- SUPPORT26: 10% off plus a donation to Spirit of Children, on 14 October only
Spirit does not print end dates for TREAT26 or DELIVER5 in that banner, so treat them as live only while Spirit still shows them. We keep the current list, with each code's terms, on our Spirit Halloween coupons page.
Markdowns on individual items
Alongside the codes, Spirit marks down single products and shows the original price next to the new one. On 14 October 2026 these included the 21 inch LED green jumping spider animatronic at $49.99, down from $99.99; Michael Myers, Jason and SpongeBob Glove World door covers at $14.99, down from $22.99; and the 3 ft Bog Monster animatronic at $239.99, down from $299.99.
What to buy now and what can wait
Spirit's stores are seasonal: they open as early as July and usually close at the beginning of November. That turns timing into a trade between price and choice.
- Buy now: the costume you have your heart set on. Spirit lists 483 new costume arrivals this season, many of them licensed lines such as Toy Story, Star Wars, KPop Demon Hunters and Lilo and Stitch, and a store purchase made after 22 October cannot be returned.
- Buy now: anything that must arrive by 31 October. Standard shipping takes 4 to 8 business days in total, so a late order may need express.
- Can wait: decor and props you will use again. Door covers, signs and animatronics are already being marked down item by item, and the online store, open all year, has its own Sale section.
Is there a Spirit Halloween sale after Halloween?
Spirit has not published its 2026 plans for after Halloween on its site, and we will not guess a percentage. What its own pages do say: the seasonal stores usually stay open until the beginning of November, the online store is open all year with a Sale section, and every store sale after 22 October 2026 is final. If you shop the end of the season, buy only what you are sure of, because you will not be able to take it back to the store.

In store, online, pickup or same day
- In store: find your nearest pop-up with Spirit's store locator. Hours are set store by store; one Tallahassee, Florida store, for example, opens 9am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 9pm on Sunday.
- Buy online, pick up in store: 10PICKUP takes 10% off and there is no shipping to pay, which helps most with large animatronics.
- Same day delivery: Spirit's listings can be filtered to items available for same day delivery, and its official Instacart storefront advertises Halloween items delivered in 1 hour where it operates.

Spirit Halloween shipping times before 31 October
Orders ship the same or next business day, Monday to Friday. To ship the same day, order before 3pm EST for economy and standard shipping, or before 12pm EST for express. Total delivery times on Spirit's shipping page, with processing included:

Rural and remote addresses can take one more business day. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO, FPO and PO boxes ship by USPS Priority. To Canada, Spirit ships by Canadian Postal Service Economy (6 to 11 business days) or FedEx International Priority (1 to 3 business days), with prices charged in US$.
Spirit's own prices show where the $40 line falls: an adult Buzz Lightyear or Jessie costume at $59.99 clears it alone, so TREAT26 applies, while a $36.99 toddler Woody costume stays under it, so DELIVER5 caps the shipping at $5.
Returns, exchanges and the final sale date
- Online orders: return within 14 days, unworn, with the original accessories and packaging. During the Halloween season the parcel must be postmarked before 16 October 2026. Shipping charges are not refunded and wigs cannot be returned.
- In stores: returns until 16 October 2026 and exchanges from 17 to 22 October 2026, with a receipt. After 22 October every store sale is final.
- Refunds: usually 5 to 7 business days after your return reaches Spirit's warehouse, and up to 4 weeks during the Halloween season.
Size matters more than usual this late in the season. Spirit says most of its costumes run smaller than standard clothing sizes and suggests choosing the bigger size if you are between two.
Other ways to save at Spirit Halloween
- Check the banner before you pay. One-day codes such as SUPPORT26 only show for a day.
- Join the email list. Spirit's newsletter sign-up sits at the bottom of its site. It does not state a sign-up discount, so treat it as a way to hear about new codes.
- Bulk orders. Spirit's guest services list a Volume Discounts page for large orders.
- Give while you shop. Spirit of Children, Spirit's charity since 2006, has raised over $93 million for more than 150 partner hospitals.
