Spirit Halloween's pickup and same-day options are in our Spirit Halloween sale guide and the last-minute Halloween guide.
Costume wig or human-hair wig?
The wigs above are costume wigs made for one look, priced from under $10 to about $50. Human-hair wig shops also advertise Halloween offers, but when we checked several of them on 15 October, none showed a Halloween sale on its own site, so we left them out. Their wigs are made for everyday wear and cost more; a sale pixie bob wig at one of them was $74.44, for example. For one night in costume, a costume wig with a $2.49 wig cap does the job. Masks and props to go with it are in our masks and props guide.
How we checked this page
Prices, counts and rules come from the stores' own websites, read on 15 October 2026: the wig sections and return pages of HalloweenCostumes.com, FUN.com and Halloween Express (read from our US server), Party City's wig listings and refund policy, and Spirit Halloween's codes and return rules as published on 14 October. Prices change daily and many reductions apply to some sizes only, so check the price at checkout. We did not test or buy these products. More offers are on our Halloween deals page and in the Halloween deals hub. This page is maintained by the SavingArena Editorial Team.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to what readers ask about this topic.
Can you return a Halloween wig after opening it?
Usually not. Halloween Express and Spirit Halloween never take wigs back, and HalloweenCostumes.com and Party City accept them only unopened.
Where can I buy a cheap Halloween wig?
On 15 October 2026 Halloween Express had 384 of its 586 wigs on sale, HalloweenCostumes.com had character wigs from $12.99, and Party City's kids' KPop Demon Hunters wigs were $20.
Do promo codes work on Halloween wigs?
Store-wide offers do, such as 15% off a first order at HalloweenCostumes.com or HEX49 free shipping at Halloween Express, but only one offer applies per order at those stores.
What is the last day to order a wig for Halloween delivery?
For delivery by 30 October, HalloweenCostumes.com lists 22 October for Standard and 29 October for Premium shipping, and Party City lists 26 October for Ground and 29 October for Next Day.

For one night, a costume wig is usually enough and costs far less. The human-hair wig shops we checked showed no Halloween sale on their own sites on 15 October 2026.
