Is there a Domestic Appliance Guard voucher code?

Domestic Appliance Guard does not publish a voucher code on its website. Its own saving is a multi-appliance discount that the checkout applies by itself: 20% off when you cover 3 or more appliances on one plan, 25% off for 5 or more and 30% off for 7 or more. Every appliance on the plan keeps the same cover.

Published plan prices

• Plumbing and drainage cover: from £2.75 a month, for leaks, blockages and burst pipes.
• Appliance cover: from £3.50 a month per appliance, for washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges and freezers, cookers, ovens, hobs, microwaves, dishwashers, extractor fans and vacuum cleaners of any age, make or model.
• Boiler cover: from £9.75 a month for the boiler and controls with an annual service, repairs up to £1,500 and up to £750 towards a replacement. Higher tiers from £11.75, £14.75 and £17.75 a month add central heating and further home services such as plumbing, drainage, electrics, doors, locks, windows and pests. Oil and LPG boilers cost £6 a month more.
• Landlord cover: from £15.75 a month, including the annual Landlord Gas Safety Record (CP12) on boiler plans.
• Without a plan: an annual boiler service is £99, and one-off repairs start from £149.

What appliance cover includes

The provider lists unlimited call-outs and repairs, parts and labour, and up to £1,000 per approved claim. If an appliance cannot be repaired economically, it contributes towards a replacement up to £1,000: 100% of the price for an appliance under 3 years old, 80% under 6 years, 60% under 9 years and 20% after that. No receipt is needed to claim. Cover starts straight away, but a fault reported in the first 60 days carries a £150 fee, or £250 in the first 90 days for an American-style fridge freezer. After that there is no excess on appliance repairs.

Shipping, returns and payment

• No delivery: plans are set up online and repairs are booked through My Account, where claims can be made at any time. The phone team on 0800 652 7111 works Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
• Payment: by Direct Debit, monthly or annually.
• Excess on boiler plans: you choose a call-out fee of £0, £60 or £95 when you take out cover, paid once per completed repair. Boiler, heating, plumbing and landlord plans have an initial 30-day period before a claim can be made.
• Renewals: renewal documents arrive 28 days before the renewal date, and the provider reviews prices every year, so the second year can cost a different amount.
• Cancelling: message the team from My Account or call with your plan number; they confirm whether anything is still due under the plan.

How to save at Domestic Appliance Guard

If you have several kitchen appliances, put them on one plan to reach the 3, 5 or 7 appliance discount bands. On boiler cover, the online quote lets you pick the excess and see the price for each option.
