Travelex does not list a promo code or discount on its site. Each policy is priced through an online quote based on trip cost, age, state of residence and trip details, so the plan you choose has the biggest effect on what you pay.

Ways to pay less with Travelex

• Kids-included pricing on Ultimate: one traveler aged 17 or younger is covered at no additional cost per insured adult
• Essential plan: the lower-cost comprehensive option, with up to $25,000 emergency medical and $10,000 trip interruption
• Flight Insure and Flight Insure Plus: flight-only coverage, with up to $1 million accidental death for air travel
• Pre-existing condition waiver on Ultimate at no extra charge when bought within 21 days of the first trip payment
• A 21-day review period, during which you can cancel and get the premium back if you have not departed or filed a claim

Travelex plans compared

Ultimate offers up to $50,000 trip cancellation, $75,000 trip interruption, $250,000 emergency medical and $1,000,000 emergency evacuation, with nine optional upgrades such as cancel for any reason. Advantage offers up to $10,000 trip cancellation and $50,000 emergency medical. Essential covers trip interruption, travel delay and medical costs but not trip cancellation. Travel Med Go can be bought up to the day you depart.

Before you buy
