The Royal Mint discount codes and offers
The Royal Mint does not publish a discount code on its site, and its home page showed new releases rather than a sale on 24 October 2026. The site states that any promotions or discounts on bullion apply to the premium above the precious metal price only, never to the metal price itself. Newsletter subscribers hear first about new launches, limited editions and rare coins.
What is new at The Royal Mint
The home page features the Sovereign 2027 collection, selected coins from the 2026 Trial of the Pyx, each with an exclusive privy mark, and a range marking twenty years of the musical Wicked. Prices and availability dates are shown on each product page, and an order with several items ships together once everything is in stock.
Shipping, returns and payment
Delivery charges depend on where you are and what you buy:
- UK: £3.99 under £250.00 and £9.00 over £250.00; precious metals orders free
- Channel Islands: £3.99; precious metals £5.00 under £250.00 and free over
- International: £12.50; precious metals free over £250.00
- Hong Kong: a fixed £35.00
Orders always go to the billing address, which cannot be changed after ordering, and buyers outside the UK pay any local taxes, import duties or customs fees. Some countries cannot be served because of UK Government restrictions.
Commemorative coins, historic coins and gifts can be returned free of charge within 30 days of delivery, in the condition received and with all packaging, certificates and display boxes; refunds usually take 7 to 10 days after the return arrives. Bullion coins and bars cannot be returned, because their price follows the live metal market. The Royal Mint offers a Sell Back service instead, priced from live spot values, and a bullion item that seems faulty must be reported within 14 days. Payment is by Visa or Mastercard debit and selected credit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and American Express for US customers only; prepaid cards are not accepted. A Royal Mint Wallet can be funded by bank transfer or debit card, and its funds must be used within 30 days.
How to save at The Royal Mint
Precious metals orders ship free in the UK, so bullion buyers pay no UK delivery charge. For coins and gifts, one UK order over £250.00 costs £9.00 to send, against £3.99 for each smaller order. The site notes that physical bullion is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, that bullion values move with metal prices and that its information is not investment advice.
