Its public code on 31 October 2026 was a birthday offer: for its 20th birthday, Travel Money Oz takes $20 off one purchase of foreign cash, a Currency Pass load or both totalling $1,000 or more, with the code HAPPY20 online or automatically in participating stores. The offer ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 31 October 2026 and can be used once per customer. Rates online are not the same as in store, so compare the total you pay.
The Buy Back Bonus adds $5 when you sell back $100 to $499.99 worth of leftover foreign cash to the store you bought it from within 90 days, and $10 for $500 or more, with some currencies excluded. Under its Price Beat Guarantee it beats an Australian-registered competitor's same-day overall price for foreign cash by at least $1, if you bring a written quote and the competitor collects within 30km; Currency Cards are excluded. The home page also promises $10 off if your currency is out of stock and a refund of the difference if you find a better rate in store within 7 days, both with conditions.
The Currency Pass loads up to 17 currencies and is published with no monthly, inactivity, currency conversion or international transaction fees, each subject to its Product Disclosure Statement. Foreign cash delivery costs $9.99 for orders up to $5,000 within 25km of a designated store, and click and collect is available.
