Imperial Clothing Brand from Italy: What to Know

Who is behind Imperial

Imperial is a women's and men's fashion brand from Italy. Its website, imperialfashion.com, is owned by IMPERIAL Spa, a company registered in Bologna (VAT number 00666471206, REA BO 319042, share capital €3.7 million), with its registered office at Via dei Lanaioli 42, Centergross block 11, in Funo di Argelato, near Bologna. Returns are sent to its Imperial Creative Lab at the same Centergross site. The site also runs a B2B area where retailers can request an account. Several other businesses use the Imperial name, from American cap makers to equestrian and gaming-merchandise brands. This guide is about Imperial from Italy, the brand behind imperialfashion.com.

What Imperial sells

The online shop is split into Woman, Man and Outlet. The women's range covers dresses, shirts, tops and T-shirts, sweatshirts, knitwear, jackets, vests, suits, outerwear, coats, trousers, shorts, skirts, overalls, bodysuits and accessories; the men's range covers shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, knitwear, vests, jackets and blazers, coats, trousers, bermuda shorts and accessories. Imperial's outlet pages also mention shoes. The site sells the OS Sunglasses eyewear line too, which is made by another company, OS Group Srl of Gragnano near Naples, and carries the CE mark.

For Fall Winter 2026 Imperial runs a campaign called "The Imperial Crew". Its home page highlighted new pieces such as a printed women's bomber jacket with ribbed cuffs, high-waisted cropped skinny trousers, a regular-fit men's denim jacket with contrast stitching and baggy men's trousers with pleats, with sections for women's outerwear and dresses and men's outerwear and blazers.

Where you can buy Imperial

Imperial's store locator lists 103 shops. Eighty-two are in Italy, with the largest group in Lombardy and Milan (including Via Dante, CityLife and Merlata Bloom) and others in Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, Tuscany, Lazio, Abruzzo, Marche, Sicily and Calabria. The other 21 are abroad: four in Ukraine, four in Russia, three each in Switzerland and Croatia, two in Albania, and one each in France (Lyon), Poland (Warsaw), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Canada (Montreal). Imperial distinguishes its company-run shops from authorised retailers, and its stock check on product pages only covers its own shops.

The online shop delivers to 16 countries: Italy, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (not the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla), Sweden and Hungary. Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the UK and the US are not on that list.

How Imperial prices work

• Online prices are the same as in Imperial's company-run shops in Italy. Authorised retailers get a recommended price, not a fixed one.
• Each country has its own price list, for tax, regulatory and administrative reasons, so the same item can cost differently abroad.
• If a price label and the website differ, the price shown at the moment of purchase applies.
• Prices can change during the season.

Is Imperial a legitimate shop?

We have not bought from Imperial, and we do not repeat third-party reviews. What the official pages do show: a registered Italian company with its VAT and business register numbers on every page; published general conditions of sale under Italian law; the 14-day right of withdrawal for online orders; the 2-year legal guarantee for faulty goods; a customer care address (customercare@imperialfashion.com) for complaints; card payments where the site does not store your card number, plus PayPal, Satispay and Scalapay; and UPS delivery with tracking. Those are the checks we would make before buying from any online shop.

Sizes and fabrics

Imperial says its sizes vary with the style, cut and fabric of each garment, so there is no single size chart. Each product page has a Size Finder that suggests a size from your measurements and preferred fit, and the product sheet shows the sizes the model is wearing. The composition of each item is listed on its product page and on the inside label, and care instructions are on the sewn-in label. For exact measurements, Imperial asks you to email customer care.

Buying from outside Italy

If you live in one of the 16 delivery countries, choose your country with the Shipping Country menu at the bottom of the home page, because the billing and delivery addresses must be in the same market as the order. Delivery abroad takes up to 10 working days, home delivery costs €9.90 (free over €150) and a UPS Access Point costs €9.90 outside Italy.
