A practical savings guide for shoppers using Pillar Sleep offers.
Pillar Sleep does not publish a coupon code on its site. Its Fall Sale discount, stated on the mattress page as up to $800 off, is applied automatically at checkout, so the price in the cart is already the sale price.
The mattress comes in Medium Soft or Medium Firm, from Twin to California King, and Pillar also lists a split firmness option for couples. It is handmade in Chicago and covered by a lifetime warranty.
Shipping: every mattress ships free in a compressed box to the contiguous United States. Orders are handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days and a tracking link is emailed when the order ships. For Alaska, Hawaii or addresses outside the US, Pillar asks you to contact support before ordering.
Returns: the 120-night trial asks you to sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights first. After that, email support within the 120 nights and Pillar arranges a free pickup or local donation, with nothing to box up. Once the return is confirmed you get a full refund to your original payment method, with no restocking fee. If you pick the No Trial option to take $100 off, you give up this trial.
Exchanges: you can swap to the other firmness; the new mattress is free, but a $99 charge covers delivery, removal of the first mattress and any local recycling fees.
Payment: the sale price is charged at checkout with no code to enter, and refunds go back to the card or method you paid with.
