Kohl's Black Friday 2026: Dates, Deals and Kohl's Cash

Kohl's Black Friday 2026 dates at a glance

Kohl's Black Friday 2026 comes in three parts, and Kohl's has published all three. Its release of 30 October 2026 sets Black Friday Early Access for Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November, Black Friday Week for Sunday 22 to Saturday 28 November, and Cyber Deals for Sunday 29 and Monday 30 November. Black Friday itself is Friday 27 November. Each part has its own coupon and its own Kohl's Cash rate, so the day you buy changes what you get back.

How this compares with last year: Kohl's announced its 2025 events on 7 November 2025, with Early Access from 7 to 9 November and Black Friday Week from 23 to 29 November 2025. The coupon then was 15% off qualifying purchases; in 2026 it is an extra 20%. The Kohl's Cash pattern is the same as in 2025: the first day of Early Access pays more than the two days after it. Black Friday Early Access, 6 to 8 November

Early Access is the first Kohl's Black Friday event of 2026. From Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November, Kohl's offers an extra 20% off qualifying purchases with a coupon, plus Daily Deals that drop for a limited time on each day of the event.

The Kohl's Cash rate is the part to plan around. On Friday 6 November you earn $15 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 you spend. On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November the rate falls to $10 for every $50. On a $100 order, that is about $30 back on the Friday and about $20 on the weekend. Kohl's calls the amount approximate: it can change when other coupons are used on the same order.

Two limits apply to every part of the sale. The coupon and the Kohl's Cash count only on "qualifying purchases", and Kohl's prints the exclusions on its coupons rather than in the release. And Sephora at Kohl's is left out of the Kohl's Cash offer. Other stores that start early, such as Best Buy and Walmart, are in our guide to early Black Friday deals.

Black Friday Week, 22 to 28 November

Black Friday Week runs from Sunday 22 to Saturday 28 November. The extra 20% coupon on qualifying purchases returns, and Kohl's Cash stays at the higher rate of $15 for every $50 on every day of the week, not just the first.

Doorbusters online from Thanksgiving

Doorbusters reach Kohls.com first, at 12:01 a.m. Central Time on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday 26 November. On the East Coast that is 1:01 a.m. on Thursday; on the West Coast it is 10:01 p.m. on Wednesday 25 November.

Kohl's has not published its doorbuster items or prices yet, and the release does not mention a printed Black Friday ad. If you see a "Kohl's Black Friday ad 2026" elsewhere, check its date: on 31 October, several pages ranking for that search showed older ads under 2026 titles. We will add the doorbusters here when Kohl's publishes them.

In stores on 27 and 28 November

In stores, the doorbusters run on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November. Because stores are closed on Thanksgiving, online shoppers get about a day's head start. Kohl's also says most buy online, pick up in store orders are ready in two hours through Christmas Eve, so if you would rather not queue, an online order collected after your store opens is one way round it.

Kohl's store hours on Thanksgiving and Black Friday

• Thanksgiving, Thursday 26 November: stores closed. Kohls.com is open, with doorbusters from 12:01 a.m. CT.
• Black Friday, Friday 27 November: stores open at 5 a.m. local time. Kohl's says hours may vary by location, and it has not published a closing time.
• Christmas Day: stores closed, as Kohl's said in its release of 21 October 2026.

The 5 a.m. opening is the same as in 2025. For your own store's closing time, use the store finder on Kohls.com in the days before Black Friday.

How Kohl's Cash works this Black Friday

Kohl's Cash is a coupon you earn when you spend, which you then use on a later order. The earning side is in the table above. The spending side has its own rules, and the release spells them out:

• A redeem window. Each Kohl's Cash coupon is valid only during the redeem dates printed on it. The release does not give the 2026 redeem dates, so check the coupon when you receive it. It is used in one transaction within those dates, it can be combined with another coupon, and any amount you do not use is lost.
• The order of discounts. Fixed-amount coupons, Kohl's Cash included, come off before percent-off coupons. On $100 of qualifying items with $15 Kohl's Cash and a 20% coupon, the $15 comes off first, leaving $85, and 20% off $85 leaves $68.
• What it cannot pay for. Sephora at Kohl's items, Kohl's Cares and charitable items, gift cards, price adjustments, payments on a Kohl's Card or other charge account, and services or fees, including tax and shipping.
• Returns. If you return something bought with promotional Kohl's Cash, the refund may be adjusted, and no Kohl's Cash is issued on returns or cancelled orders.
• Other terms. It is not cash, gives no cash back and cannot be transferred.

In practice: Kohl's Cash rewards a second trip, so it is worth most to shoppers who already plan to buy again in the redeem window. Giveaways and the Black Friday sweepstakes

• Black Friday Kohl's Cash Giveaway, Friday 27 November. The first 200 shoppers at every Kohl's store get $5 to $100 in instant Kohl's Cash, while supplies last. This Kohl's Cash can be used in store only, in one transaction, on the same day.
• Sephora at Kohl's Giveaway, Saturday 28 November (new in 2026). The first 200 shoppers get a coupon worth $5 to $100 for beauty purchases at a Sephora at Kohl's that day, in store only. The fine print limits it to one card per household and to participating Sephora at Kohl's locations.
• Black Friday Sweepstakes, 27 to 30 November. It runs from 5:00 a.m. ET on 27 November to 11:59 p.m. ET on 30 November, and you can enter in store or online. Prizes include Kohl's gift cards, product bundles and a $10,000 cash grand prize. No purchase is needed, and it is open to legal residents of the US and DC aged 18 or over. The official rules are at KohlsBlackFriday.com/rules.

Both giveaways go to the first 200 shoppers per store, so they reward arriving at opening time. The amount on each card is between $5 and $100, and Kohl's does not say how many cards carry each amount.

Kohl's Cyber Deals, 29 and 30 November

Kohl's Cyber Deals run on Sunday 29 and Monday 30 November. The coupon rises to 40% off qualifying purchases, some deals are up to 50% off, and Kohl's Cash stays at $15 for every $50 spent.

The bigger coupon makes it tempting to wait two days after Black Friday Week. That can pay off on an item that is not a doorbuster, but the item's own price can also change between events, so compare the final price at checkout, not the coupon. Holiday returns at Kohl's

Kohl's offers free in-store returns through 31 January 2027 on items bought from 4 October to 30 December 2026, according to its release of 21 October. That covers every event on this page, from Early Access to Cyber Deals.

Two points from the Kohl's Cash terms matter when you return a Black Friday buy: the refund on an item bought with promotional Kohl's Cash may be adjusted, and Kohl's Cash cannot be used on price adjustments.
