Ulta Black Friday 2026 at a glance

Ulta Black Friday 2026 has already started, in an early form. Ulta Beauty's Early Black Friday event began on 25 October 2026 and runs until 21 November at 11:59 p.m. CT, with new deals each week in stores, on ulta.com and in the Ulta Beauty app. Ulta treats it as a separate event from its regular Black Friday sale, which it says "starts later". On 31 October, Ulta had not put a date on that main sale.

Ulta's Early Black Friday week by week

Ulta's Black Friday page shows previews for three November weeks: 1 to 7, 8 to 14 and 15 to 21 November. Each week brings a new set of offers across makeup, skin care, hair care, body care, fragrance and wellness. Between the weekly sets, Ulta adds short online-only drops; on 30 and 31 October, for example, a group of two-day online deals ran beside the weekly offers.

Every deal tile carries its own end date, and that date matters more than the event's. On 31 October most offers on the page ended that same day, while a handful, mostly marked "online only", were set to run until 21 November. In practice that means three things:

  • A deal you see one week will often be gone the next, so check the page at the start of each week.
  • Tiles marked "online only" are not in stores.
  • The weekly previews show what is coming, so you can wait for a brand you want instead of buying a near match this week.

How big are the discounts? Ulta's page is not consistent on this. Its banner and introduction say "up to 50% off", while the FAQ on the same page says "up to 40% off select beauty products" and adds that discounts vary by product and week. On 31 October the tiles ranged from 20% off to 50% off, with some buy one, get one 50% off offers in between. So expect most deals to sit below the headline figure. Early sales at other stores are in our guide to early Black Friday deals.

The fine print: codes, members and limits

Ulta's terms for Early Black Friday sit in a single footnote, and several of its lines change how you should shop:

  • No codes on event items. Products in the event "are not eligible for additional discounts and cannot be combined with or purchased using any scannable coupon, coupon code, or other code-based offer." A coupon from an email will not stack on an Early Black Friday deal.
  • Some offers are for top-tier members. Certain deals may be open only to Platinum and Diamond Ulta Beauty Rewards members, who must be logged in to their account when they buy.
  • While quantities last. Ulta issues no rain checks, and availability differs between stores, pickup, ulta.com and the app.
  • Offers can change. Ulta keeps the right to repeat, extend, change, suspend or stop any offer without notice.
  • The end time is Central Time. 11:59 p.m. CT on 21 November is 12:59 a.m. ET on 22 November and 9:59 p.m. PT on 21 November.

If you hold a coupon code, it is usually worth more on an item that is not in the event, since it cannot be used on event items at all. Ulta codes we track are on our Ulta discount codes page; check each one's dates and terms before you use it.

When Ulta's main Black Friday sale starts

Ulta's own answer, in the FAQ on its Black Friday page, is that "Regular Black Friday deals start later, and offers, brands and discounts may differ between the two events." It also says the same page will be updated when its Black Friday offers go live.

Some websites already print exact dates for Ulta's main sale and its Cyber Monday offers. We could not find those dates on any Ulta page on 31 October, so they are not on this page. When Ulta publishes them, we will add them here with the date we read them. Until then, deals from stores that have announced are on our Black Friday deals page and our Cyber Monday deals page.

Ulta Beauty Rewards on Black Friday

Ulta Beauty Rewards is free to join, and Ulta's FAQ confirms that Early Black Friday purchases earn points. Here is how the programme works, from Ulta's Rewards FAQ:

  • Earning. Members earn 1 point per $1 on qualifying purchases. Platinum members, who spend $500 in a calendar year, earn 1.25 points per $1. Diamond members, who spend $1,200 in a calendar year, earn 1.5 points per $1.
  • Tier timing. Reaching Platinum or Diamond upgrades you for the rest of the current year and the whole of the next. A November or December purchase that takes your 2026 spending past $500 or $1,200 therefore counts through the end of 2027.
  • Expiry. Points expire at the end of the quarter one year after you earn them, but not while you hold Platinum or Diamond status.
  • Redeeming. You can redeem once you have 100 points: up to 4,000 points on one online order and up to 10,000 in store.
Points redeemedMoney offValue per point
100$3.003 cents
250$8.003.2 cents
500$17.503.5 cents
750$30.004 cents
1,000$50.005 cents
2,000$125.006.25 cents

The last column is our own calculation from Ulta's table: each point is worth more in the bigger steps, so saving points for a larger redemption gives more money off than spending them 100 at a time. Ulta's page also advertises its Ulta Beauty Rewards Credit Card, with 2 points per $1 and 20% off the first purchase on a new card. It is a credit product, so read the card's terms before you apply.

Ulta store hours and in-store deals

Most Early Black Friday offers run both in stores and online; the tiles labelled "online only" are the exception, and Ulta warns that what is available can vary from store to store. If a deal matters to you, check it against your store before you travel.

Ulta had not published its Thanksgiving or Black Friday store hours on 31 October 2026. Hours differ by store, and Ulta's store finder on ulta.com lists each store's opening times. We will add Ulta's holiday hours here if it publishes them.

Returns on Black Friday beauty buys

Ulta has a holiday return window this year: eligible products bought in Ulta stores or on ulta.com from 1 November to 31 December 2026 can be returned through 31 January 2027, with the refund going to the original form of payment. Purchases after 31 December follow the standard policy.

One gap to know about: Early Black Friday started on 25 October, before the holiday window opens. Anything bought from 25 to 31 October falls under the standard policy, which gives a refund within 30 days and merchandise credit from day 31 to day 60. A purchase made on 28 October, for example, can be refunded until 27 November.

Other rules from Ulta's returns section:

  • You need proof of purchase unless Ulta can find the sale in its system, and Ulta asks for a government-issued physical ID plus a phone number or email address for any return.
  • Discounts, coupons and points used on the order are prorated and taken off the refund.
  • Coupons, offers and points cannot be applied to past purchases, and you may not return an item to buy it again with a coupon. If a price drops later, a return and rebuy is not allowed for that purpose.
  • Returns with a gift receipt within 60 days can be exchanged for an item of equal or lower value or returned for merchandise credit.
  • By mail, you pay the return postage, original shipping charges are not refunded, and refunds can take up to 30 business days after the parcel arrives. Exchanges cannot be made by mail.
  • Gift cards cannot be returned, and a few items, such as salon wigs and hair extensions, cannot be returned at all.

How we check this page

We read Ulta's Black Friday page, the returns section of its guest services page and its Ulta Beauty Rewards FAQ on 31 October 2026, from our US server. Dates, terms and point values are quoted as Ulta publishes them; deal prices are left out because Ulta changes them every week. We will update this page at the start of each Early Black Friday week and when Ulta publishes its main Black Friday sale, its Cyber Monday offers or its holiday hours. For other stores, see when Black Friday 2026 starts at each store and how to tell if a Black Friday deal is real, and all our guides are in the Black Friday hub.
