L.L.Bean Black Friday 2026: Early Deals, Codes, Returns

L.L.Bean Black Friday 2026 at a glance

L.L.Bean Black Friday 2026 has started early. A banner across llbean.com reads "Early Black Friday Savings: up to 40% off", online and in stores, with "prices as shown". On 1 November 2026 the sale group held 339 items, mostly slippers, boots, sweaters, fleece and pants. L.L.Bean has not posted its Black Friday weekend or Cyber Monday offers yet, and standard shipping is free on orders of $75 or more.

Everything in this guide comes from L.L.Bean's own pages, which we read from a US server on 1 November 2026.

What is in the Early Black Friday Savings

L.L.Bean splits the early sale into five groups, each with its own top discount:

• Slippers: up to 50% off select styles (18 items).
• Boots: up to 35% off select styles (20 items).
• Sweaters: up to 30% off select styles (74 items).
• Sweatshirts and fleece: up to 30% off select styles (108 items).
• Pants: up to 30% off select styles (119 items).

Note that the slipper group goes past the 40% in the site banner, so read each group's own figure. The "was" price L.L.Bean shows is the item's original price, and a few items are reduced by more than their group's headline figure. Others show a price range, which means only some colors or sizes are reduced. Check the exact color and size on the item page before you decide.

Some of the prices L.L.Bean showed on 1 November 2026. Prices can change daily, so treat them as a guide to the size of the cuts:

Outside the early group, the wider Sale section held 1,119 items on 1 November, in groups such as clothing, outerwear, footwear, outdoor equipment, bags and home goods. It also has two groups called Daily Markdown and Two-A-Day Daily Markdown, which L.L.Bean files under clearance items: a changing mix of marked-down clothing, bags and gear. The selection there moves as items sell, so a price you see one day may be gone the next.

L.L.Bean also runs Black Friday and Cyber Monday landing pages for jackets, winter boots, outdoor gear, home and gifts. On 1 November they grouped products by category but gave no dates or discount levels, so the Early Black Friday Savings group is where the stated discounts are.

Bean Boots, flannel and outerwear

Bean Boots: they were not in the 20-item boot group on 1 November. That group held Stonington, NextVenture and Camden Hills boots, waterproof hiking boots and shoes, and kids' Trail Model hikers. We will add Bean Boots here if L.L.Bean puts them on sale for Black Friday.

Flannel: the early sale includes the flannel-lined Double L jeans in the table above. In the wider Sale section, the Men's Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt, Slightly Fitted showed a range from $29.99 to $59.95, so only some colors or sizes were reduced.

Outerwear: the early sale has no jacket group. The Sale section's outerwear group held 106 items on 1 November, at reduced prices that vary by item.

Is there an L.L.Bean Black Friday code?

No. On 1 November 2026, L.L.Bean's offers page listed no Black Friday promo code, and the early sale needs none: prices are as shown. Two standing offers are on that page:

• 10% off for first-time email subscribers. It covers select merchandise bought at llbean.com, by phone or in L.L.Bean retail stores. It is not valid at L.L.Bean Outlets, global.llbean.com or llbean.ca, it is for new email subscribers only, it arrives by email within 1 to 2 hours of signing up, and it can be used once. Because it applies to select merchandise, check at checkout whether it works on a sale item.
• 20% off with the L.L.Bean Mastercard, on approval. If your application is instantly approved, you get a one-time 20% off your llbean.com purchase during that same website visit when you pay with the new card. It ends when the visit ends, and it excludes shipping, return labels, taxes, gift cards and several services.

Older articles that rank for L.L.Bean Black Friday searches still print codes from the 2020, 2023 and 2024 sales. Those were past offers, so do not expect them to work this year. If L.L.Bean publishes a Black Friday or Cyber Monday code, we will add it here with the date we read it.

L.L.Bean Cyber Monday 2026

Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday 30 November. L.L.Bean has a Cyber Monday deals page, but on 1 November it showed products by category (jackets, fleece, boots, gifts and outdoor gear) with no dates, prices or discount levels. We will add L.L.Bean's Cyber Monday offers here when it posts them. Offers from other stores will be on our Cyber Monday deals page.

Shipping, returns and gifts

Shipping. Standard shipping is free on orders of $75 or more, after promotions and discounts, sent to a single US address. Gift cards, Outdoor Discovery Programs courses and trips, taxes and fees do not count toward the $75, while monogramming, gift boxing and engraving do. If you send gifts to several addresses, each address needs its own $75. Below that, standard shipping costs $8 and takes from 3 to 6 business days. Expedited shipping costs $21 to the contiguous US, from 2 business days, and $23 to Alaska and Hawaii, from 3 business days.

Returns. L.L.Bean's guarantee lets you return an item within one year of purchase for a refund (it adds that special conditions may apply). After a year, it will consider returns of items that are defective in materials or craftsmanship. The main rules:

• Proof of purchase is required. If you gave your details at checkout, L.L.Bean usually has a record; otherwise you need the receipt.
• Mail returns cost $6.50 per package by UPS or US mail, or nothing if you paid with the L.L.Bean Mastercard or entirely with Bean Bucks earned with the card.
• Store returns are free at L.L.Bean retail stores and outlets, but Clearance Centers can only take back items bought there. If you paid with PayPal, L.L.Bean cannot refund to your PayPal account, so a store return comes back as store credit or a check by mail.
• Timing: mail returns can take up to 2 to 3 weeks to process, and refunds are processed within 5 to 6 business days after the package arrives. Your bank may take longer to post the credit.
• Not returnable: ammunition, in stores or by mail.

Gifts. Gift recipients can return an item within one year with a gift receipt and get a merchandise credit for the original selling price. Without a gift receipt, L.L.Bean still takes an unused, unworn item in its original packaging and gives a credit for the last known selling price. So for a Black Friday gift, ask for a gift receipt at checkout. Our guide to Black Friday returns and price matching compares these rules with other stores.

L.L.Bean Rewards and the Mastercard

L.L.Bean now runs a free loyalty program, L.L.Bean Rewards, alongside its credit card. In L.L.Bean's own terms:

• Joining: free, for US residents aged 18 or older, online, in a US L.L.Bean store or outlet, or by phone. No credit card is needed.
• Earning: 1 point per $1 on eligible purchases, counted after discounts and before taxes and shipping. 150 points turn into $5 in Bean Bucks, which L.L.Bean describes as earning 3%. Outdoor Discovery Programs, L.L.Bean for Business and purchases from other retailers do not earn points.
• Shipping: members get free standard shipping on orders of $50 or more to a single US address, after promotions and discounts but before Bean Bucks.
• Expiry: points do not expire while your membership is active, but Rewards Bean Bucks expire 270 days after the last time your balance went up.

The L.L.Bean Mastercard, issued by Citibank, earns Bean Bucks of 5% at L.L.Bean's US businesses, 2% at restaurants and 1% on other eligible purchases. Paying with the card also brings free standard shipping and free return shipping, though not on expedited or oversized freight orders. The card has no annual fee. As of 22 September 2026, L.L.Bean listed a purchase APR of 19.74% to 30.74%, based on creditworthiness, so a balance carried past the due date can cost more than a Black Friday discount saves.

L.L.Bean Canada

llbean.ca is a separate website for Canada, with its own prices and offers. L.L.Bean's US email offer is not valid there, and the US sale prices above are for llbean.com. We did not read llbean.ca for this guide, so check its own Black Friday page before you buy from Canada.

How we check this page

Every price, count and rule above was read on llbean.com from a US server on 1 November 2026: the home page banner, the Sale section and its Early Black Friday Savings groups, the offers page, the L.L.Bean Rewards and Mastercard pages, the shipping page, the Returns and Exchanges page and Our Guarantee. We do not take codes or prices from other coupon sites, and we have not tested any of the products named here.

We will read L.L.Bean's pages again every few days and daily from 20 November, then add the Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday offers when they appear.
