Black Friday Laptop Deals 2026: Offers and Specs to Check

Laptop deals published so far

Black Friday laptop deals for 2026 are only starting to appear. Black Friday is Friday 27 November, and when we checked on 31 October, Costco was the one big US store that had named laptops with savings for Black Friday week. Best Buy, Walmart and Target had published their sale dates but no laptop prices. This table holds only offers from the stores' own pages, with the date we read them, and grows as stores publish.

Each Costco laptop has a limit of 2. Costco's Black Friday page, read on 31 October 2026, shows savings rather than final prices for these models, says prices on Costco.com may be higher than in warehouses, and says the savings cannot be combined with any other savings or promotion. A membership is needed.

When laptop deals start at each store

Best Buy also gives My Best Buy Plus and Total members double rewards, 2% back in points, from 19 November to 6 December. Dates for every other store are in our guide to when Black Friday starts at each store.

Windows and Copilot+ laptops

Copilot+ PC is Microsoft's label for Windows laptops with a built-in neural processing unit (NPU) that runs some AI features on the laptop itself. All five Costco laptops above carry the label, and all have at least 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD, so the main choices are screen size, weight and form.

14 inch laptops

The HP OmniBook X 14 is the most portable of the Costco list, with $400 off from 19 November. The ASUS ZenBook DUO 14 has two touchscreens and 32GB of memory, with $250 off from 27 November, online only. A second screen helps with spreadsheets and video calls but adds weight, so check the weight in the maker's spec sheet.

16 and 17 inch laptops

The HP OmniBook 5 16 has the largest saving on the list, $500, online only, from 27 November. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i 16 has $300 off, in warehouses and online. The HP OmniBook 3 has a 17.3 inch screen and $350 off from 19 November, online only. Larger screens are easier on the eyes for long work days but harder to carry, and they need a bigger bag.

Costco lists savings, not sale prices, for these models. To compare them with offers at other stores, check the price shown on Costco.com on the day you buy and compare the exact model number, not only the name.

MacBook deals: what Apple does and does not do

Apple's own rules show how it treats sales events: its 14-day price protection "excludes limited-time price reductions and special sales events, such as Black Friday". On 31 October, Apple's shopping event page sent visitors to the main Apple Store page, so Apple had not announced a 2026 event.

Apple's current Mac laptops, as listed on apple.com on 31 October, are the MacBook Neo, the MacBook Air in 13 and 15 inch sizes and the MacBook Pro in 14 and 16 inch sizes, with a new 14 inch model on the M6 chip. If a store offers a MacBook deal, check the chip and the year on Apple's own compare page, so you know whether the discount is on a current model or an older one.

Costco has an Apple Savings Event from 27 to 30 November (search AppleDeals26HM on Costco.com, limit 2), but it had not named the products on 31 October. Our Apple page lists offers we have checked on Apple's own site.

Gaming laptop deals

No store had published a Black Friday gaming laptop price when we checked. Best Buy's holiday calendar names NVIDIA RTX Spark PCs among the new products in its stores this season. Before you buy a gaming laptop on sale, check:

• The graphics card: the exact GPU model, and the power limit the maker states for it, because the same chip can run at different power in different laptops.
• The screen: its refresh rate and resolution. A fast screen only helps if the graphics card can drive it.
• Memory and storage: how much RAM is fitted and whether you can add more later, and the SSD size, since modern games take a lot of space.
• Weight and power brick: gaming laptops are often heavy and use large chargers.

If the laptop will stay on a desk, compare it with a gaming desktop. Costco lists a CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme desktop with an RTX 5060 graphics card, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, with $300 off from 27 to 30 November.

Chromebook and Googlebook deals

Best Buy's holiday calendar names AI-powered Googlebooks as one of its new products this season. No store had published Chromebook or Googlebook Black Friday prices on 31 October. When they do, check the update end date that Google publishes for each Chromebook model: after that date the laptop stops receiving updates, so a cheap older model can have a short life left.

Specs to check before you buy

• Memory: all the 2026 Copilot+ laptops on sale at Costco have 16GB or more. Treat a lower figure as a reason to compare carefully.
• Storage: 1TB SSDs are common on the listed models. Check whether the SSD can be replaced if you need more later.
• Screen: size, resolution, touch or not, and brightness as the maker states it.
• Battery life: makers' figures come from their own tests. Compare them only between laptops from the same maker.
• Ports: count the USB-C, USB-A and HDMI ports you need, so you do not have to buy adapters.
• Model number: stores sometimes sell several versions of one laptop name. Match the full model number before you compare prices.

We read each store's own Black Friday page, newsroom and help pages from a US server, and we list only what they publish, with the date we read it: 31 October 2026 for this version. We do not test laptops, so we do not rate them. We name the specs each store lists, so you can compare the same model across stores.
