JB Hi-Fi Black Friday 2026: Dates, Deals and Cyber Monday

JB Hi-Fi Black Friday 2026 at a glance

JB Hi-Fi Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, and JB's Cyber Monday follows on Monday 30 November. JB says the sale runs online and across its 205+ stores Australia-wide, and that deals "start dropping well before the official date", so it tells shoppers to watch its Black Friday page from early November. This page lists only what JB itself has published, with the date we read it. Prices are in Australian currency, shown as A$.

Some sites already print a start date for JB's Black Friday sale. One cashback site gives Monday 23 November and one catalogue site gives "Thursday, 18 November", a weekday that does not even match 2026, since 18 November 2026 is a Wednesday. When do JB Hi-Fi's Black Friday deals start and end?

JB has not given an exact start date. Its 2026 Black Friday page says: "Deals start dropping well before the official date, and the best ones go fast. So if you want in before anyone else, watch this page from early November." On 1 November the page described the categories but showed no deals or prices. We will add the date of JB's first Black Friday drop here when it happens.

The end is not stated either. JB treats Black Friday and Cyber Monday as one weekend, with Black Friday on Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November 2026. In JB's catalogues, each offer carries its own end date or runs "while stocks last", so the date that matters is the one printed beside the product, not a single sale end date.

JB lists these categories for Black Friday itself: hair tools (Dyson, Dreame and Mermade Hair are named), TVs and projectors (Hisense, Samsung and LG), smart home and security cameras (eufy, Jackson and Swann), vacuum cleaners (Dyson, Mova and Miele), benchtop appliances such as coffee machines and air fryers (Breville, De'Longhi, Nespresso, Tefal, Cucinetta and Philips), and whitegoods (Westinghouse, Haier and CHiQ). Naming a brand is not a promise that a given model will be cut, so treat the list as a guide to where deals are likely.

JB Hi-Fi Black Friday deals we have checked

JB had posted no Black Friday prices by 1 November. What it had published was its "Price Frenzy" catalogue, dated 29 October 2026, which runs into November. Those prices are not Black Friday offers, but they are JB's own current prices, so they are the yardstick for judging a Black Friday price on the same model. If JB's Black Friday price is not below these, it is not a better deal.

Read JB's "off" figures with care. The catalogue's own footnote says the discounts apply to the "previous ticketed/advertised price prior to the discount offer at the time of printing 15/10/2026", and adds: "As we negotiate, products will likely have been sold below ticketed/advertised price prior to the discount offer." In other words, the ticket price is a reference point, and many people will have paid less than it before the sale. The price itself is what to compare. The same catalogue says its offers are not available at JB's Airport and Express stores and exclude products sold through the JB Hi-Fi Marketplace.

TVs and projectors

JB names Hisense, Samsung and LG TVs and projectors for Black Friday. The OLED in the table above shows the scale of JB's current TV cuts: A$700 off a 65 inch model before Black Friday has started. When TV deals drop, compare the full model number, because the same screen size can come in several model years at very different prices.

Phones, iPad and Apple Watch

JB puts phones, tablets and wearables in its Cyber Monday half of the weekend, naming Apple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones, and wearables from Fitbit, Garmin, Oura, Google Pixel, WHOOP and others. For Apple, JB says it has "Black Friday deals on Apple gear worth locking in early". No iPad or Apple Watch price had been posted on 1 November.

Laptops and computers

JB names Samsung, Dell, ASUS and Lenovo laptops and Apple's MacBooks for Cyber Monday. The two MacBook Air prices in the table are the reference: if a Black Friday or Cyber Monday price for the same chip, memory and storage is not lower, wait or compare elsewhere.

Gaming: Switch and PS5

JB lists consoles, controllers and headsets for Cyber Monday and names the Nintendo Switch. Its current catalogue prices the PS5 Slim at A$999 and the digital edition at A$919, with no discount shown, and the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle at A$839, limited to one per customer. Those are the figures a Black Friday console deal at JB has to beat.

JB Hi-Fi Cyber Monday 2026

JB's Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday 30 November. JB describes it as "the tech-heavy half of the weekend", when it drops prices on mobile phones, tablets, laptops, gaming hardware, wearables, cameras and audio gear. For cameras it names GoPro, DJI, Sony, Canon and Fujifilm, plus drones. For audio it names JBL, Bose and Audio-Technica across headphones, speakers, turntables and home audio. In short, JB's Black Friday leans towards TVs and home appliances, and its Cyber Monday towards personal tech. We will add JB's Cyber Monday deals here on the day. JB Perks and gift cards

JB Perks is JB's membership programme. JB's Black Friday page says members get "member-only offers and extras running all year, well beyond Black Friday weekend", and suggests joining "before the rush". JB's current catalogue offers a A$10 welcome coupon for new Perks members, valid for 28 days from issue, with full terms on JB's Perks page. If you join to use that coupon on a Black Friday buy, time your sign-up: join too early and the coupon may expire before the Black Friday weekend.

For gifts, JB sells e-Gift Cards that, in JB's words, land "in their inbox in minutes and cover the whole range". A gift card is useful if you want to give a Black Friday budget rather than guess the right model.

Price matching at JB Hi-Fi

JB's Australian catalogue carries the line "Seen it cheaper? Instore | Online" and says the offer "Excludes JB Hi-Fi Marketplace Products". JB's full Australian price-match policy sits on a help page that showed a bot check to our server and refused our second route with a "too many requests" error on 1 November, so we have not read its full terms and do not guess them. Ask JB in store or by live chat how it applies to a Black Friday price before you rely on it, and check whether the competitor's offer is a member price, a bundle or a cashback, which price-match policies often treat differently.

JB's New Zealand page has its own wording: "if you've seen it cheaper, let's do an instant deal", with matching online through live chat or by phone. That is JB NZ's policy, for New Zealand stores and prices only. JB NZ also says its Black Friday prices are the same across all its NZ stores and online. Refunds on Black Friday buys in Australia

Australian Consumer Law gives you the same rights on a Black Friday item as on a full-price one. The state regulators put it plainly:

• "No refunds on sale items" signs are unlawful. Queensland's Office of Fair Trading says such signs are unlawful because they imply you can never get a refund, even for a faulty item. Consumer Protection in Western Australia says the same about "No refunds", "No refunds on sale items" and "No refunds after seven days" signs, and adds that this applies to online refund policies too.
• Faults are covered. If a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement, and which one depends on whether the problem is major or minor.
• Change of mind is up to the store. Queensland's regulator says businesses do not have to give a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind, so check the store's returns policy.

Every date, price and quote above comes from JB Hi-Fi's own pages, read from our US server on 1 November 2026: the Australian Black Friday page, the "Price Frenzy" catalogue of 29 October 2026 and JB's New Zealand Black Friday page. The refund rules come from the Queensland Office of Fair Trading and Consumer Protection WA, read the same day. JB's price-match and refund help pages blocked our tools, and we did not try to get around that. We do not take dates from cashback or catalogue sites, and we have not tested these products.
