Pet Halloween Costume Deals 2026: Prices and Fit

We read the pet costume sections of four costume stores on 15 October 2026. Prices are as shown that day, before any code.

Most were discounted: 44 of the first 60 at HalloweenCostumes.com and 43 of 60 at FUN.com showed a sale price, all 18 Party City pet costumes we read had a lower price than before, and 30 of Halloween Express's 40 were on sale. The deepest cuts were on single items, such as a Raggedy Ann pet costume at $1.97 (89% off) at Halloween Express and a PJ Masks Owlette at $5.99 (76% off) at FUN.com.

Big dogs, small dogs and cats

Party City sells big-dog versions of some costumes in 2X and 3X, such as the Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Big Dog costume at $35.99 (was $39.99), with sizes XS to XL for the rest. Halloween Express says it has options for large dogs and small breeds. HalloweenCostumes.com titles its section "Dog and Cat Costumes" and says it covers dogs of all shapes and sizes, and FUN.com's range runs from small clearance pieces to licensed costumes such as Star Wars Darth Vader from $59.99.

Measuring your pet

Pet sizes are not the same from one brand to the next, and Party City's product text tells you to review its size chart. Measure your pet's neck, chest at the widest point and back from neck to tail, and compare those numbers with the chart on the product page rather than the size name. Try the costume on at home before the night and watch how your pet moves in it. We did not test any of these costumes.

Returns: most pet costumes are final once opened

• HalloweenCostumes.com and FUN.com list pet costumes among the items that must be unopened to be returned.
• Party City lists pet costumes among its restricted items, which must also be unopened, and online orders must come back within 14 days of delivery.
• Halloween Express takes costumes back only unopened, after Customer Service approves, with a 15% restocking fee.

Check the size chart before you open the bag, because a pet costume that does not fit usually cannot go back once it has been tried on.

Order in time

For US delivery by Friday 30 October, HalloweenCostumes.com lists 22 October for Standard and 29 October for Premium shipping, and Party City lists 26 October for Ground and 29 October for Next Day, before 11am CDT.
