Most Halloween toys sell at full price in October, and the real markdowns are on plush and treat pails. We read each store's own pages on 16 October 2026; prices change and stock sells out, so check them before you order.

Plush and Squishmallow treat pails on sale
FUN.com had five Squishmallow Halloween treat pails reduced on 16 October: Holly the Owl at $12.99 (was $24.99, 48% off), Stump the Skeleton and Marvin the Monster at $15.99, and Emily the Bat and Autumn the Cat at $19.99. A pail works as a trick-or-treat bucket and stays a plush toy afterwards. Its clearance also had a Mavis plush from Hotel Transylvania at $2.99. New email and text subscribers get 10% off a first order at FUN.com.
Toynk sells a set of PAC-MAN Halloween 7 inch collector plush (Witch Pinky, Vampire PAC-MAN, Pumpkin PAC-MAN, Bat Clyde and Mummy Inky) at $19.99 each, down from $29.99. Most of the rest of Toynk's Halloween shop is horror-film decor and collectibles for adults.
LEGO Halloween sets by age and price
LEGO's US Halloween category listed 50 products on 16 October, and none of the Halloween sets we saw was reduced. Prices and LEGO's own age grades:
- Ages 9+: Halloween Skull Candle 40883 $19.99; Halloween Pumpkin Lantern 40872 $29.99 (shown on backorder); Wednesday Backpack 76787 $44.99; Sally's Flowerpot 43288 $49.99; Haunted Mansion 31167 $89.99.
- Ages 10+: Gremlins Gizmo and Stripe Figures 40919 $24.99; The Skeleton 21594 $39.99; Nevermore Academy 76788 $69.99.
- Ages 18+: Dark Flower Arrangement 11513 $59.99; Mayor Manor 11383 $119.99; La Catrina 21372 $139.99.
LEGO ships free on US orders over $35, according to its banner. Its Insiders double points and its gift with purchase over $180 both ran until 19 October. In its general sales section, the Eleven, Max, Demogorgon and Holly figures set 40879 was $31.99 instead of $39.99.
Halloween jigsaw puzzles for family nights
White Mountain Puzzles, which says its puzzles are made in the USA, had 13 Halloween designs, including Monster Treehouse, Halloween Library and Fright House at $21.99 for 1000 pieces, and The Halloween Store and Halloween Fun at $18.99 for 500 pieces. Some are marked discontinued or out of stock. None was reduced, and the store gives no age guidance on these pages.
Costume prop toys: swords, wands and bows
FUN.com's Halloween toys are mostly props that finish a costume: a Harry Potter Dumbledore light-up wand at $14.99, a Power Rangers Dino Fury Ranger sword at $19.99 (was $24.99) and a Halo Energy Sword at $24.99 (was $29.99). - White Mountain Puzzles: free shipping over $75, so three or four puzzles in one order.

Buy now or wait until after 31 October?
None of these stores had published an after-Halloween sale date on 16 October. Treat pails and plush are useful before Halloween, so the current markdowns are the ones to use; LEGO sets and puzzles are year-round items that you can buy later if you wait for a sale.
