IKEA Black Friday 2026: Canada, Australia, UK and US

IKEA Black Friday 2026 at a glance

IKEA Black Friday 2026 is not one sale. Each IKEA country sets its own dates and rules, and on 4 November 2026 three of the four English-speaking markets had published something. IKEA Canada's Black Friday deals for IKEA Family members run from 2 to 22 November. IKEA Australia gives 10% off almost everything to every customer from 5 to 30 November. IKEA UK says its IKEA Family Black Friday offers start on 26 November. IKEA US had not announced a 2026 sale: its Black Friday page still says the 2025 event is over.

The table shows what each IKEA site said when we read it on 4 November 2026. We add each market's details as IKEA publishes them.

For other stores' dates, see our guide to when Black Friday 2026 starts at each store and our Black Friday 2026 deals page.

Does IKEA do Black Friday?

Yes. IKEA runs Black Friday offers, but each country decides what they are, and in 2026 the formats are very different. Canada and the UK tie their Black Friday offers to IKEA Family, IKEA's loyalty programme, which is free to join. Australia does not: its terms say "IKEA Family membership is not required to take advantage of this offer."

So the first step is to check which IKEA site you buy from. A Canadian price or a UK date does not apply in another country, and each site uses its own currency. Many deal pages that rank for "IKEA Black Friday" are written for IKEA Germany or Switzerland, which run their own November events and are not covered here.

Joining IKEA Family is free, online, in the IKEA app or in store. In Canada, members log in to their IKEA Family account at checkout or show their card at the till to get the Black Friday price. IKEA Australia offers new members a A$10 welcome voucher, but its Black Friday terms say the 10% does not combine with other offers, including IKEA Family offers, so check before you plan to use both on one order.

IKEA Canada Black Friday 2026: 2 to 22 November

IKEA Canada's page reads "Black Friday deals are here!" and gives the dates as November 2 to 22, 2026. IKEA Family members save 20% on select products online, in the IKEA app, in store or by phone on 1-866-866-IKEA (4532). The page's search description says "up to 15%", but the page itself and the offer terms both say 20%, so we go by those.

What the 20% covers

• Chests of drawers. The STORKLINTA 4-drawer chest is C$159.00 instead of C$199.00, the FÅGELFJÄLLET 8 drawer chest C$319.00 instead of C$399.00, and the STOREMOLLA 8-drawer dresser C$559.00 instead of C$699.00.
• Mirrors, except children's and bathroom mirrors. The HOVET mirror (78x196 cm) is C$135.00 instead of C$169.00, and the LINDBYN 60x170 cm mirror C$63.99 instead of C$79.99.
• Lighting. The FADO table lamp is C$27.99 instead of C$34.99, and the BARLAST floor lamp C$7.99 instead of C$9.99.
• Taskrabbit assembly booked through IKEA, from 12:00 a.m. EST on 2 November to 3:00 a.m. EST on 23 November. It does not cover kitchen installation or measuring.

Each product on the page says "Price valid Nov 02, 2026 - Nov 22, 2026 or while supply lasts". The prices above are as IKEA Canada showed them on 4 November 2026. Sofas, beds and mattresses are not part of the Canadian 20% offer.

The C$35 Sell-back coupon

IKEA Family members who complete a Sell-back at a participating IKEA Canada store between 2 and 22 November get one coupon per transaction: C$35 off a single purchase of C$150 or more before tax. The coupon can be used once, from 2 November to 6 December 2026, and IKEA's Sell-back page says it is redeemed in store. It does not apply to kitchens, appliances, countertops, IKEA services, gift cards or the IKEA Restaurant and Swedish Bistro.

Sell-back runs all year, but it takes time. You apply online first, IKEA posts an estimate in your account 3 to 5 days later, and you bring the item, assembled, to the store within 30 days of the estimate. Staff check it and make a final offer, which can differ from the estimate. IKEA buys back items such as chests of drawers, nightstands, dining tables, small tables, non-kitchen cabinets and office desks, but not fabric-upholstered sofas and armchairs, mattresses, bed frames or anything that contains glass. If you want the coupon, apply well before 22 November.

Terms worth knowing in Canada

• The 20% "may apply to previous purchases made within 30 days, subject to the IKEA Price Adjustment Policy". If you bought a covered lamp, mirror or chest of drawers in October, it is worth asking.
• It is not valid on As-is items and cannot be combined with other promotional offers.
• If you return an item, the promotional discount and any IKEA Family points earned on it are taken off the refund.
• While supplies last, and no rain checks.

IKEA Canada also offers Afterpay on online orders of C$50 to C$2,000, including services and taxes, split into four interest-free payments.

IKEA Australia Black Friday 2026: 10% off almost everything

IKEA Australia's Black Friday Sale gives 10% off almost everything from 12:00am on Thursday 5 November to 11:59pm on Monday 30 November 2026, Sydney time. The terms say the offer is for "all IKEA customers", in store and online, and that IKEA Family membership is not required. The discount comes off automatically when an item is scanned or added to the cart.

Examples from IKEA Australia's sale page, each "valid 5 Nov. 2026 - 30 Nov. 2026 or while stocks last":

• KIVIK 3-seat sofa with chaise longue: A$899.10, from A$999
• BÅRSLÖV 3-seat sofa-bed with chaise longue: A$899.10, from A$999
• GULLABERG chest of 8 drawers: A$539.10, from A$599
• ALEX drawer unit: A$125.10, from A$139
• SKOGSTA dining table, 235x100 cm: A$719.99, from A$799.99
• HOVET mirror, 78x196 cm: A$206.10, from A$229

The 10% does not apply to kitchen system products (cabinets, fronts, worktops, taps, sinks, knobs, handles and more), kitchen appliances, anything from the As-is market, food including Swedish Restaurant meals, services "(delivery or otherwise)" or IKEA Gift Cards. It does not combine with any other offer, including IKEA Family and IKEA Business Network offers, and there are no rain checks.

The discount is taken off the "regular marked price", which the terms define as the regular price in the 12 weeks before the sale, not a temporary promotional price. The same page also shows "New lower price" items; those are a separate price change, not the Black Friday discount.

This is a new format. IKEA Australia's own newsroom describes its 2025 Black Friday as four days, 28 November to 1 December 2025, with up to 40% off selected products for IKEA Family members. The 2026 sale is longer, a smaller discount per item and open to everyone. On returns, the terms say the refund is the amount you paid less discounts, and that returns follow IKEA's returns policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

IKEA UK Black Friday 2026: IKEA Family offers from 26 November

IKEA UK's Black Friday page now reads "Black Friday 2026 is nearly home" and says: "Our IKEA Family Black Friday offers start 26th November." That is the Thursday before Black Friday on 27 November. When we read the page on 4 November 2026, IKEA UK had not said which products, what discounts or when the offers end.

Until then, the page points to its standing ways to save: in-store only offers, new lower prices, clearance, IKEA Family offers, Our Lowest Price items, IKEA Food offers in store, and buying and selling second-hand furniture through Buy Back and Resell. Because the Black Friday offers are for IKEA Family members, UK shoppers who want them should join before 26 November. We will add the offers, in £, once IKEA UK publishes them. For other UK retailers, see our UK Black Friday guide.

IKEA US Black Friday 2026: not announced yet

IKEA US has not announced Black Friday 2026. On 4 November 2026 its Black Friday page still said "Black Friday 2025 is over, but you can always save at IKEA!", and the IKEA US newsroom had no Black Friday release; its latest items were product recalls. IKEA US has replaced its 2025 page, so IKEA itself no longer shows last year's US dates or offers. Some deal sites list them, but we do not print dates that IKEA has not published.

When IKEA US announces, this section will give its dates, offers and who can shop, in $, the same way as for the other markets. If you are comparing US furniture stores now, our Ashley Furniture Black Friday guide covers a retailer that has published its plans.

What to check at IKEA US before Black Friday

IKEA US's offers page shows regular promotions that are not labelled Black Friday. On 4 November 2026 it listed 15% off all BESTÅ storage solutions "thru 11/11" and 20% off select table lamps "thru 11/11" as IKEA Family prices, along with 20% off select candy, kids eat free every Wednesday, and in-store savings of up to 25% on selected products. Products on the page carried "Price valid Oct 7, 2026 - Nov 11, 2026 or while supply lasts".

These are not Black Friday prices, and IKEA does not call them that. If you plan a big purchase, note the price you see now, so that you can tell whether a later Black Friday price is lower. Our guide to whether Black Friday deals are real explains how to check a "was" price. IKEA US's return policy also lowers the risk of buying early: 365 days for unopened products, and 180 days for opened products with proof of purchase, for a full refund.

IKEA sofa and couch deals on Black Friday

Sofas draw more IKEA Black Friday searches than any single product, but only one market had sofa prices on 4 November 2026: Australia. Its 10% covers sofas and armchairs, so the KIVIK 3-seat sofa with chaise longue and the BÅRSLÖV sofa-bed with chaise longue are both A$899.10, from A$999. Canada's 20% covers chests of drawers, mirrors, lighting and assembly, not sofas. IKEA UK and IKEA US had published no Black Friday sofa offers. Mattresses follow the same pattern: IKEA Australia lists mattresses among its Black Friday categories, while Canada's offer does not include them.

Three points matter more for a sofa than for a lamp:

• Delivery is extra. IKEA Australia's 10% does not apply to services, including delivery, so the delivery charge is paid in full. Add it before you compare with another store.
• Assembly. In Canada, Taskrabbit assembly booked through IKEA is 20% off for members until 3:00 a.m. EST on 23 November, which helps with a chest of drawers or a tall mirror.
• Returns. A big item is hard to send back. In the US, unopened products can go back within 365 days and opened ones within 180 days with proof of purchase. In Canada and Australia, the Black Friday discount comes off any refund.

In Canada, Sell-back is not a way to clear an old couch: IKEA does not buy back fabric-upholstered sofas and armchairs.

IKEA Black Friday hours and Thanksgiving

None of the four IKEA sites had published Black Friday 2026 opening hours, or US hours for Thanksgiving on Thursday 26 November, when we read them on 4 November 2026. Hours are set store by store, so check your local store's page on IKEA's site before you go. In Australia the sale ends at 11:59pm Sydney time on 30 November, which is 10:59pm in Brisbane and 8:59pm in Perth.

Returns, delivery and gift cards

• US: 365 days for unopened products, and 180 days for opened products with proof of purchase, for a full refund. Returns are not accepted at IKEA Planning Studio or IKEA Pick Up Point locations.
• Canada: on a return, the Black Friday discount and the IKEA Family points earned are taken off the refund. The 20% can also apply to purchases from the past 30 days under IKEA's Price Adjustment Policy.
• Australia: the refund is the amount paid less discounts, under IKEA's returns policy and the Australian Consumer Law. Delivery and other services are not discounted.
• UK: IKEA UK has not published its Black Friday terms yet; we will add them with the offers.

Gift cards are left out of every IKEA Black Friday offer published so far: Australia excludes IKEA Gift Cards from the 10%, and Canada's C$35 coupon cannot be spent on gift cards. IKEA Australia's 2025 Black Friday also excluded gift cards, food products and services. For how other stores handle holiday returns and price drops, see our Black Friday returns and price matching guide.

IKEA Cyber Monday 2026

No IKEA market had published a Cyber Monday offer on 4 November 2026. In Australia, Cyber Monday, 30 November, is the last day of the 10% sale. Canada's sale ends on 22 November, a week earlier. IKEA UK and IKEA US have not said what follows Black Friday. We will add any IKEA Cyber Monday offer here; deals from other stores are on our Cyber Monday 2026 page.

How we check this page

Every date, price and rule here comes from IKEA's own websites, read on 4 November 2026: the Black Friday pages of IKEA US, Canada, the UK and Australia; IKEA Canada's offer terms and Sell-back page; IKEA Australia's Black Friday terms (effective 5 November 2026) and its 2025 newsroom release; and IKEA US's offers page, newsroom and return policy. Most pages were read from our US server. We do not take dates from deal sites, and we have not tested these products.

We will read the IKEA US page again on 7, 10, 13 and 17 November and then every two days to 30 November, and the UK page when its offers start on 26 November. For more of the season, see our Black Friday deals hub and our early Black Friday deals round-up.
