Party City's Halloween sale at a glance
Party City is running "Up to 30% off Halloween Costumes" from 12:00 AM EST on Tuesday 13 October to 11:59 PM EST on Monday 19 October 2026. There is no code: the reduced price is already shown on each costume, and the offer covers online orders that are shipped, not store pickup.
| Discount | Which costumes | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 30% off | Descendants, Spider-Man, Star Wars and Incredibles | Disney Pixar Mr. Incredible men's costume $41.99, was $59.99 |
| 20% off | All other Disney and Marvel costumes | Marvel Captain America Deluxe Muscle men's costume $43.99, was $54.99 |
| 10% off | All other costumes | KPop Demon Hunters Rumi or Mira kids' costume $36.00, was $40.00 |
How many costumes are really reduced
We counted the costumes in Party City's Halloween costume collection on 15 October: 1,277 in total, of which 1,134 showed a reduced price. About 994 were cut by around 10%, 101 by around 20% and 39 by around 30%, so most shoppers will see 10% rather than 30%. The 143 costumes without a reduction included toddler PAW Patrol costumes at $19.99. Half of all the costumes start at $34.19 or less, 524 start under $30 and 150 under $20.
The 30% and 20% costumes
- 30% off: Mrs. Incredible women's costume $34.99 (was $49.99), Jack-Jack infant costume $17.49 (was $24.99), Descendants Wicked Wonderland Chloe, Red and Pink deluxe girls' costumes $27.99 (were $39.99), Star Wars The Mandalorian boys' costume $27.99 (was $39.99), Stormtrooper classic boys' costume $24.49 (was $34.99), Grogu infant plush costume $17.49 (was $24.99), Spider-Man women's costume $27.99 (was $39.99) and Miles Morales Spider-Man toddler costume $17.49 (was $24.99).
- 20% off: Marvel Thor classic boys' costume $27.99 (was $34.99) and Disney Pixar Toy Story Jessie girls' costume $27.99 (was $34.99).
Prices are per costume and can change with the size you pick. Costume prices at other stores are compared in our kids Halloween costume guide and adult Halloween costume guide.
What is not on sale
The sale is for costumes. On 15 October none of the first 250 Halloween decorations and none of the 151 Halloween party supplies showed a reduced price. Some costume accessories did (78 of the first 250), for example a Gandalf beard at $17.99 (was $19.99) and an It Pennywise wig at $17.99 (was $19.99). Party City's site has no sale or clearance section at the moment: its clearance and sale pages return "not found".
Fine print that changes your total
- The discount applies to online orders that are shipped; store pickup is excluded.
- Only one promotion can be used per order.
- Free ground shipping on orders of $50 or more, and free local delivery on $50 or more, both exclude "sale, clearance, and otherwise discounted merchandise". Below $50, ground shipping costs $8.99 and local delivery $4.99 where it is offered. We did not place a test order, so check the shipping line at checkout before you pay.
- Party City says select styles may vary and the offer can change or end without notice.
Where you can buy
Party City now sells mainly online. Its site ships to all 50 states, Washington DC and PO boxes, but not to APO or FPO addresses, US territories or other countries. Where a DoorDash DashMart is nearby, it offers same-day or scheduled delivery. Buy online and pick up in store is offered only at select independently owned franchise stores in Texas and New Jersey, and the costume discount does not apply to pickup. The Party City shops inside participating Staples stores carry what Party City calls a curated collection of popular party supplies and balloons.
For ground delivery by Friday 30 October, Party City's chart says to order by Monday 26 October before 11am CDT, or by 28 October for 2-Day and 29 October for Next Day shipping. These are estimates. Faster options are in our last-minute Halloween costume guide.
Returning a sale costume
- Online orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery by contacting customer care; they cannot be returned in a store.
- Sale items, wigs, inflatables and pet costumes are accepted only unopened.
- Halloween items can be returned only up to 7 days before the holiday, so by about Saturday 24 October.
- $8.99 is deducted if you use the return label Party City emails, and the refund is what you paid after discounts, without the original shipping.
After 19 October and after Halloween
Party City had not published anything on 15 October about prices after 19 October or about an after-Halloween clearance for 2026, and an "After-Party" clearance page from 2024 no longer exists on its site. If you need a costume this year, the published discount ends on 19 October. If you are shopping for next year, there is no announced clearance to wait for yet. We will update this page when Party City announces its next offer.
Compare before you buy
Other costume stores run their own offers with different shipping and return rules: see our Spirit Halloween sale guide, the HalloweenCostumes.com and Halloween Express store pages, and the Halloween deals page.
How we checked this page
Prices, counts and rules come from the stores' own websites, read on 15 October 2026: Party City's coupons and deals page, Halloween shipping chart, shipping, delivery, store locator and returns pages, and its own product listings. Prices change daily and many reductions apply to some sizes only, so check the price at checkout. We did not test or buy these products. More offers are on our Halloween deals page and in the Halloween deals hub. This page is maintained by the SavingArena Editorial Team.
